SIZING INFORMATION
As ring sizes can vary person to person, it is recommended to measure ring size before ordering rings to ensure they will fit properly and avoid disappointment.
Maddy Rowley Jewellery uses Australian standard for ring sizing. This is a letters based system. There are a few various ways to accurately find your ring size that will be included below.
Visit your local jeweller
Almost all jewellers or retailers will have the equipment needed to accurately measure your ring size and are happy to help you for free.
Subscribe to get a free ring sizer
If you sign up for ‘Maddy Memos’ email subscription, you will be sent a small ring sizer for free to allow you to measure your finger size.
Measure the internal diameter of a ring that already fits you
This is the most effective way to measure your ring size by yourself, place the ring on top of a ruler and measure from internal wall to wall (in millimetres!) we can then convert this to the Australian size.
Use a ribbon to measure the circumference of your finger
Wrap a piece of ribbon, string or twine around your finger once and mark where the fabric overlaps itself. Remove it and measure the length of it against a ruler. Ensure you are able to fit the material over your knuckles. Also important to remember that these materials are quite flexible and forgiving in ways metal will not be, so take care to make sure you have the correct measurement. This is the hardest way to get an accurate measurement.
